I was wondering if it could be possible to tweak the Batocera OS, or its kernel image, or something, in order to support the higher OpenGL version, or if the developers will take care of this issue in the future.
The OpenGL supported version on Batocera is only 1.4, while in other GNU/Linux distros such as Debian Stretch (which is run from a external drive) I'm able to run OpenGL 2.0, and the N64 emulator mupen64plus runs perfectly fine there. However, I face a problem related to the 32-64 bit consoles. At this point I'm able to run flawlessly every 8-16 bit console emulator. I own a mini-laptop from 2010 (Toshiba NB300 with Intel Atom N455 µP, GMA 3150 graphics chip, and 1 GB of DDR3 RAM) and decided to install Batocera.Linux 64-bit onto its internal hard disk (as the laptop is going to be used for only retrogaming).
